Presentation of the Burn Book to Cady; the Book is filled with misogynistic statements about the Plastics’ classmates, mostly other women. The contents of the Book align with what bell hooks describes as ‘white woman feminism,’ a form of patriarchal feminism which supports and encourages competition across women rather than solidarity and refuses to acknowledge white women’s role in the systemic oppression of women and people of color.
